At Genbro, it is not just the products that make the store unique. It’s the people behind it. Our team is composed of passionate and committed employees who put effort and heart every day into creating a store that is more than just a second-hand shop – Genbro is a community.
We have both full-time and part-time employees, young workers and student assistants, who all contribute with different skills, perspectives and ideas. It provides dynamism, energy and a vibrant workplace where everyone is passionate about the same thing: giving used things new life and giving customers a good experience.

Genbro also stands on the shoulders of great professionalism. We get support and sparring from former marshals and antique dealers in Copenhagen, who bring valuable knowledge and experience with them. This means that we don’t just have a flair for quality – we have expertise. It makes a difference when we sort, evaluate and price everything from furniture to antiques, porcelain and clothes.
But our team is much more than those you meet in the store. Behind the scenes is a strong and dedicated group that sorts and packs recycled items every day so that they are ready to be shipped to Genbro. Here, the goods are greeted by the store’s employees, who prepare and display them neatly, ready to find new homes.
It’s a big machine, but it works because we pull together.
We believe in a good working environment, genuine collaboration and a culture where everyone feels seen and heard. And it rubs off on the atmosphere in the store. Our customers feel it when they walk through the door: that here is a place with warmth, energy and professional pride.
