These terms and conditions apply to purchases in Genbro’s physical store in Nørrebro, unless otherwise clearly agreed in writing.
Genbro.dk primarily serves as an information page for the store. Here you can read about our selection, find your way, see opening hours and get inspiration for recycling, secondhand, vintage, furniture and sustainable shopping in Copenhagen.
If Genbro at a later date opens for actual webshop, online payment or distance selling, the terms and conditions should be expanded with separate terms for online purchase, delivery, right of withdrawal and return shipping.

- Shoes, bags, jewelry, ties, hats and vintage accessories
- Used furniture, small furniture, design furniture and retro furniture

All items are part of a vibrant and changing assortment. An item that has previously been featured on genbro.dk, Google, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or other channels may therefore have been sold or no longer be available.
4. Second-hand goods with patina, history and traces of use
All items at Genbro are second-hand, unless otherwise clearly stated. Used items may have natural signs of use, patina, small marks, age marks, previous repairs, wear and tear, or other conditions that come with the item’s age and history.
This is part of the charm of recycling, but it also means that the item must be assessed based on its condition, price, age, material and previous use.
As a customer, you must therefore always examine the item thoroughly before buying it. You are welcome to ask the staff if you want to know more about the condition, function, material or any visible signs of use.
5. No exchange or return policy
Genbro does not offer exchange or return rights on purchased items.
This means that a purchase in the store is binding when the item has been paid. Therefore, you cannot return, exchange or get a refund for an item because you regret the purchase, have chosen the wrong size, do not have space at home, have changed your mind, or because the item does not fit your needs anyway.
This also applies to clothes, shoes, bags, furniture, lamps, books, interiors, kitchenware, design finds, collectibles and other second-hand items purchased from Genbro.
Our policy is simple: No trade. No returns.
This rule does not limit your statutory rights if a product has an actual defect according to the rules of the Sale of Goods Act.
6. Complaints in case of defects or defects
Although Genbro does not offer the right of exchange or return, you as a consumer still have the rights that follow from the Sale of Goods Act if a product has a defect.
As Genbro sells second-hand goods, ordinary traces of use, patina, signs of age, wear, minor cosmetic marks or conditions that were visible at the time of purchase are generally not a defect. The same applies to conditions that you were made aware of before the purchase.
A defect, on the other hand, can be a defect that the product had at the time of purchase and that you could not reasonably expect based on the price, type, age and condition of the product.
If you believe that an item has a defect, you must contact Genbro as soon as possible after you have discovered the defect. Bring the item and documentation of the purchase, for example a receipt, bank statement or other relevant documentation.
In the event of a justified complaint, we find a solution according to the rules of the Sale of Goods Act. The specific solution depends on the product, the defect and the situation.
7. Prices
All prices at Genbro are stated in Danish kroner and include VAT, unless otherwise clearly stated.
We work with fixed low prices and a wide selection, so customers can make great bargains across clothing, furniture, home, books, media, kitchenware and accessories.
The price of an item can depend on the type, condition, quality, age, material, brand, design, rarity, and demand. Reservations are made for typos, price errors, sold out items and changes in the assortment.
8. Payment
Payment is made in Genbro’s physical store with the payment methods that appear at the checkout.
The purchase is completed when the payment has been registered and the item has been handed over to the customer.
Genbro does not store your full payment card information. Card payments are handled by the payment solution used in the store.
9. No reservation of goods
Genbro does not reserve items.
Since many items at Genbro are unique and only available in one copy, all items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We can’t guarantee that an item is still available, even if you’ve seen it on genbro.dk, Google, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, other channels, or in store before.
An item is only yours when it has been paid for in the store. Inquiries via phone, e-mail, social media or contact form do not entitle you to have an item set aside.
If you are interested in a specific item, we recommend that you visit the store as soon as possible. The assortment changes continuously, and new items come in every day.
10. Pick-up and transport
Items purchased from Genbro must generally be brought or picked up in the store at Nørrebrogade 116, 2200 Copenhagen N.
In the case of larger furniture, lamps or heavy goods, the customer is generally responsible for transport, collection, packaging and proper handling after purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
The risk for the product is transferred to the customer when the product has been paid for and delivered or made ready for agreed collection, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legislation.
11. Items displayed online and on social media
Images and descriptions on genbro.dk, Google, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other channels are used to show Genbro’s universe, store, selection and atmosphere.
As the assortment changes continuously, online content is not a guarantee that a particular item is still available in the store. Pictures can show both current items, previous items, mood photos and examples of the type of finds you can experience at Genbro.
12. Brands, Design Names and Authenticity
Genbro may sell second-hand goods from well-known brands, designers or manufacturers when such goods are included in the range. Brand and design names can be mentioned as part of the product information.
All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Genbro is not an associate or authorized reseller of the mentioned brands, unless it is clearly stated.
Since the goods are used, the customer should always examine the item thoroughly before purchase. Ask the staff if you want more information about a specific item.
13. Gift cards and vouchers
If Genbro offers gift cards or vouchers, the terms and conditions stated at the time of purchase or issuance apply.
Please note that gift cards or vouchers do not change Genbro’s general policy that purchased items cannot be exchanged or returned, unless expressly stated otherwise.
14. Complaints
